yesterday my mother speculated that perhaps i'm not "destined to be married in this life...again." i wonder if she's right.

spiral cement trucks are a rare delight. oh, yes, all cement trucks are charming and inexplicably appealing...but why have a cement truck and not paint a black spiral on it? i mean, what's the point, really? the magic is in the spiral.
