(dc) pizza

yesterday i brought two friends of mine, ages 7 and 9, to nasa for a visit. the first stop was the cafeteria, where we bought them whatever food they wanted. nia got a hamburger, french fries, a candy bar, and a root beer. jasmine got pizza, fruit salad, onion rings, and a candy bar. the girls were fascinated with the whole cafeteria thing. at one point nia pointed to my drink and said, "what'd you get, kelly?" i said, "diet coke."

"are you on a diet?"
"yeah."
"is that diet pizza, too?"

d'oh!

kids. you can't slip anything past them.

Hola Kelly !

I'm that 0.00001% chance of meeting side by side on a plane :-) remember? I live in Pittsburgh now, not that far from you.

Kids, the wisdom of purity & you as impressive as always...and in reference to the posting of your pic..yes, a guy, not anonymous, not your sister, tells you are a bombshell !

Greetings from the past and the always !

Please enlighten me as to why there's a (dc) in front of every post? Example, "(dc) pizza".

nasa, that's so cool. my sister- in-law who used to work for nasa in florida as a systems engineer had always invited me to come down and see a space shuttle launching. i never had the time and have always regretted it. she no longer works for nasa.

charity doc: once upon a time no one ever knew to where in the world kelly had run off. the (dc) represents her location.

I think this is an almost record number of comments for a kelly post!

This is your upstairs neighbor, I need to get an email address or something from you so I can help arrange that get together we spoke about on the stairs the other day.

So what's the record for number of comments on Kelly's blog? Did this post break the record?

Is this the record now?

no, i think the record is 18, from a post in october of 2004 on the grammar construct "none is" vs "none was." grammar and spelling are usually the only things that draw comments from justin. and in that case, his friend aaron joined in the discussion. i don't think aaron reads my blog anymore.

"none is" vs. "none was"....

My gawd! You ARE the chief of the grammar police!

I believe Justin was the one correcting Kelly's grammar...although I'm not sure.

yes. justin is definitely the CHIEF. i am merely a humble servant of the grammar police.

Maybe if you spelled Aron's name correctly he would still be reading.

yes, chief. sorry, aron (who is surely not reading). (i rest my case).

OK, so you're like the Deputy Dawg of the grammar police?

Please don't take it the wrong way. I love Deputy Dawg. Beats some of the crappy Saturday morning cartoons nowadays.
