i just have to log, for the record and for all to see, the complete and utter picture-perfect smoothness of today's preparation and departure for LA out of dulles. you see, there are some who believe that every flight departure of mine is fraught with drama - last minute packing, arriving at airport minutes before flight closure, running to gates, etc. well, it's just not that way. there are as many smooth departures as rushed ones - it's just that they never get any attention. so, here's some attention paid to today's perfectly executed packing/prep/departure. no fuss, no muss. arrival was equally as smooth, despite my bellyaching about having to stand in line for a few minutes at budget.
