did i say i love la? by "love" i really meant "hate." what's the difference, anyway, between love and hate? my new working hypothesis is that they're the same emotion.

meet me under the spiral cement truck
spiral cement trucks are a rare delight. oh, yes, all cement trucks are charming and inexplicably appealing...but why have a cement truck and not paint a black spiral on it? i mean, what's the point, really? the magic is in the spiral.
