(boston -> trenton) stuck
we were finally defeated at 1am in trenton, having left boston at 4pm, not to arrive in NYC until 11:30. simonetta and i were both exhausted after the exciting weekend and it was storming, so we found a hotel and drove the rest of the way to DC this morning.
lesson: always take the train to boston (or a plane, i guess), no matter how expensive it seems. train is best. train is best. train is best.

Don't you have to work anymore? You do all of this personal stuff during the work week. You must have a great boss !!
good question! indeed, i do have a fabulous boss (the best i've ever had). and indeed, i do have to do work, which i usually choose not to write about. i think i've said this before. i also have a month of vacation time that i'm taking bit by bit in order to do things like go to conferences and set up special recording sessions. shall i post my timecards here?
how about you, dear reader? you must also have a great boss to spend so much time reading my blog. don't you have to work? are you the same person that criticized me before for this and for how i take care of my cat? if so, why don't you tell me who you are so we can really get to know each other? honestly, i woudl prefer this to your lurking (which i can see) and your judgements (which everyone can see).
if you're not the same person as before, just ignore that second paragraph above. sorry to be a bit touchy. i do have a flexible job that allows me to work strange hours if i need to, and at which people respect each others' abilities to get their work done. it's this kind of freedom that i spent 11 years in school to enjoy!
I discovered your blog a week or so ago - through a random keyword search. Don't know anything about your cat. You must have a great boss who lets you live your life - in addition to working. Not many people have that sort of sane existence.
i try to be sane, but that's not exactly how i'd describe my life. sorry to jump on you... i'll try to be less touchy. :)
