(dc) help with lasik?
does anyone know anyone that knows an expert in lasik surgery? like, perhaps, a doctor that might know another doctor that would be willing to give a good friend of mine the REAL (unbiased) scoop on what the risks are? or someone that has found a good source of REAL data on the rate of problems associated with the surgery? my friend has had great difficulty finding data that he could use to quantify the risks. can you help?

both grant and shastri have had lasik - you might want to hit them up for some advice. my sis had it and has been happy...
I did some audio editing for a Lasik Eye Center here and have access to all their Q&A with the head doctor, who has a LOT of experience and somewhat pioneered the field.
