i don't remember coughing like this since i had pneumonia in high school.
i wonder if they invented cough syrup after enough people choked on cough drops while coughing.

spiral cement trucks are a rare delight. oh, yes, all cement trucks are charming and inexplicably appealing...but why have a cement truck and not paint a black spiral on it? i mean, what's the point, really? the magic is in the spiral.

oy, i sympathize with the coughing. i had the flu almost two weeks ago, and my voice is only now starting to recover. hopefully you'll be able to avoid the ear infections.
i'm so sorry. it's a nasty nasty thing. ear infections...nooooo! i hope the antibiotics will prevent that.
