(dc) new home

well...after 24 solid hours of packing (and not finishing), we arrived into DCA last night, just in time for a lovely little dinner party


and the first "real snowstorm" in the northeast. we opted for the cab to my new place saturday morning. it was so snowy and cold, we couldn't really enjoy my new neighborhood (as seen here from love cafe)


i got my new keys. turns out i have an unusally big door. loretta, will, and james came over to inspect. loretta had a grand vision for a sleeping loft over the bathroom door that left me truly inspired.
