(ambelside) weather

not surprisingly, it is cold and rainy here. today we piled into cars and drove to grasmere for a walk but some of us wimped out and went to a bistro instead for a lovely broccoli and stinton soup.

we made a weak attempt at new year's resolutions. i decided mine was to be more generous with others. and also to get in shape (along with 80% of americans).
