(14th & U) new brew 14U

great news. there's a new and pretty cool little coffee shop that's just opened up next to the dry cleaner at 14th & U. it's called 14U. i was gonna post a link to the website here, but they don't appear to have one yet. i got a soy latte and some pumpkin pie there this morning on the way to work. this was day 2 of their operations. they're still working out some kinks, but it looks promising. the owner seemed ambitious, spunky, and full of ideas. eventually he wants to have live music and stay open till "3 or 4 am." sounds good to me! their t-shirts say "tell only your best friends."

so i'm telling you.
